Newton Community and Education Centre

Newton Community and Education Centre is a community centre in Newton, West Lothian. The community centre serves the community of Newton and the surrounding areas of Abercorn, Society and Totley Wells. The community centre has a vibrant weekly programme of events, providing community groups with a place to meet, and it’s a popular venue for both regular commercial lets and single use hires.

The Management Committee

The Newton Community and Education Centre Management Committee is a team of volunteers from the community. Our remit is to oversee the management of the community centre. Our role in the future changes are to ensure that there is maximum engagement with the local and wider community, including local residents, user groups and residents from communities in the wider area who may use the community centre. The management committee will be led by the community in the making of this decision. It is important that our community take ownership of this decision, taking into consideration that whatever decision made will not see changes implemented until 2026.
